Rice Ice – 2010

rice / ice / horse/ water is a continuation of Bronia Iwanczak’s exploration of the relationship between language and embodiment through the artists’ book medium.

Through this work she specifically looks at how language is integral to the “dynamic, interconnected reality” that is the world in which we live. Using the medium of the book, Iwanczak explores language as part of this biospheric web, mapping the process of language acquisition, that is, how we make contact with language and the world, and each through the other.
